SECOND CONCERT JUST ANNOUNCED for Sunday 13 July, 3pm!

'Do whatever it takes to get a ticket!'  Courier Mail

Few records echo down through the years like The Beatles The White Album.

In the winter of 2009, four of our greatest rock'n'roll showmen – Chris Cheney of The Living End, Phil Jamieson of Grinspoon, Tim Rogers of You Am I and ARIA award winner singer/songwriter Josh Pyke - left a trail of standing ovations and ecstatic reviews selling out 11 shows in 5 cities across Australia.

The White Album Concert returns in July 2014.

Coming after India, but before the split, The White Album was the sound of John, Paul, George and Ringo throwing everything they'd learned into their musical blender. This major work bursts with variety, creativity, experimentation, and the genius of The Beatles during one of their most intense, fertile, periods. It is a timeless album, yet very much of its time.

Its 30 songs veer from the populist stomp of Back in the USSR and the mind-bending Happiness is a Warm Gun to the melodious sorrow of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, the ska pop fun of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, and the hard rock prototype Helter Skelter.

Bringing this classic to life is an all-star line-up of Australia's finest musicians with Cheney, Jamieson, Rogers and Pyke backed by a 17 piece rock orchestra including guitars, strings, horns and two drummers. The show is musically directed by Rex Goh.

The White Album songs will be performed in track order, starting with Back in the USSR and closing with Good Night.

Incredible show. Four Australian front men all starring, Chris Cheney brilliant on While my guitar, Phil Jameson funny and soulful, Josh Pike did the soft songs well, Tim Rogers gets to play the clown. The band superb. Given the Beatles themselves never would have performed these songs all credit to Rex and his arranging. As one of Tim's asides if you like this we might come back and do something else, maybe Abbey road?
